Ingredients: Cherry

A small fruit with a hard pit in the center. Cherries are often yellow-orange, bright red, or dark red, and they can be sweet or slightly sour in flavor.

Sweet cherries are similar to wild cherries that originated in temperate Europe, northern Turkey, Caucasia, and Transcaucasia.

English colonists brought cherries to North America in 1629.

Cherries are a great source of potassium.
