Ingredients: Ginger

A type of root with a rough, tan exterior and a fibrous, pale yellow interior. Ginger has a spicy in flavor with hints of citrus. 

Ginger was introduced to the Caribbean during the 15th century. 

Used in China and India as a medicinal spice since ancient times, ginger is still used as an anti-nausea treatment.
