Ingredients: Honeydew

A melon with a smooth, pale green exterior and a bright green interior. The interior contains seeds in the middle of the fruit. Honeydew has a floral, sweet flavor. 

Most likely the Middle East or western Asia

Honeydew did not reach Europe until the late 15th century, most likely through trade with the Middle East. 


Honeydew is known as the “bailan melon” in China.
