Ingredients: Lamb

A young sheep ( ruminant mammal). Its red meat has a unique aroma when cooked and a slight gamey flavor. 

It is believed that sheep were first used as a food source in Central Asia, approximately 10,000 years ago.

Christopher Columbus introduced domesticated sheep to the Americas in 1493 on his second voyage. 

Lamb derives from the German word lambiz.
