Ingredients: Orange

A spherical citrus fruit. Oranges have an orange, porous exterior and a lighter orange, edible interior. 

Originated in southern China or northern India. 

Middle Eastern merchants and traders brought oranges from Asia to Europe. By the 11th century, the Spanish were cultivating oranges. 

Cultivated oranges generally fall into three categories: common orange, blood orange, and navel orange.
