Ingredients: Pea

The small, green seeds within a pea pod. They have a fresh and earthy flavor. 

Most likely the Mediterranean region, the Middle East, or Asia.

European colonists introduced the pea to the Americas by the 17th century. 

Peas contain 23% protein.
