Ingredients: Thyme

A green herb with small leaves on stems. Thyme has an earthy aroma and flavor.

Native to the Mediterranean region and parts of Asia.


European colonists brought thyme to the Americas sometime before the 18th century. 

Thyme contains the chemical compound “thymol” which acts as an antiseptic and is used today in some mouthwash, hand sanitizer, and acne medication.
