Ingredients: Turkey

A turkey is a large poultry bird. The meat is similar to chicken in flavor.

Spaniards introduced turkeys domesticated by Native Americans to Europe and Asia in the 1500s. 

Five subspecies of wild turkey currently exist. The National Turkey Federation (NWTF) was founded in 1973, with the mission to preserve and restore wild turkey habitats.
