Ingredients: Turmeric

A flowering plant; its golden-orange roots are used fresh or as a ground spice in cooking.

Native to Indonesia and Southern India.

By the 9th century, turmeric had spread across much of Asia and Africa, likely through the extensive trade routes including the Silk Road. 

This root and ground spice is historically recognized for its anti-inflammatory properties and used for healing wounds, treating bacterial infections, and skin rejuvenation.
